Co-vid 19 & Zoom are new terms but are they really the ‘new norm?’
I think that yes more people will be working from home, having zoom meetings & changing how they shop. However I have also observed that people love contact, in fact they crave it.
I can’t see friendships formed over a zoom meetings. Zoom meetings are in & out – clinical. That’s not what a lot of people are about. They want the coffee the conversation, the feeling they get with the face to face meeting, the specialized service. Meeting in person gives us subtle & not so subtle cues & lets us really know if we want to do business with you. Does a business need a presence online, absolutely but bricks & mortar stores are here to stay as well.
Some businesses are saying they have learnt to be flexible & adapt to the situation but honestly as a small business owner this is what you should already be doing. To compete with big business you need to be unique. You need to stand out. For some businesses this may be hard but I don’t believe it is for Cash Inn. We have always acknowledged that change is inevitable & we have moved with the times. We have always aimed to be the best at what we do, to be our authentic self, respect all & generally enjoy being in downtown Revesby.
